White Snow and Orange Bikes!
Slack roundup, jobs, events, and our 2026 kickoff at Orange Bike,
Punxsutawney Phil may have seen his shadow and the Patriots may have lost the Super Bowl but at least George is happy about it (he’s a Seahawks fan… booooooo). On a serious note, our 2026 kickoff event at Orange Bike is right around the corner and the first drink is on us!
This week we are experimenting with a virtual education session. Our friends at Carta are hosting a dedicated Nexus zoom session on how founders can best manage Cap Tables, Options and Equity. Carta is also digging up Maine-specific data on startups and we will have live Q&A. So get curious and bring your questions.
Lastly - if you want even deeper connections and direct access to everyone in the Nexus community please apply here to join us in the Nexus Slack group.

Intro
I graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in English, and then quickly put it to work as an infantry officer in the Army.
I left active duty in 2019 and started at a small marketing agency. Nine months later, I became their Head of Operations. Two years after that, CEO.
After a few years running an agency, I went out on my own. That became Dynamic Agency OS — a positioning operating system that helps agencies nail their niche, offer, and GTM strategy. I’ve been doing this for a little more than two years now, and I’m having a blast, working less, but creating a much larger impact.
I’m happily married to an amazing wife, and we’ve got two equally awesome daughters.
Why Maine
I grew up in Madawaska and loved it. Most of my time as a kid was spent outdoors, so being that close to endless forests was great. When I was leaving the Army, my wife (Fort Kent native) and I knew we were coming back. But with kids, we decided to be closer to civilization and found a place in New Gloucester.
Maine was the only real choice. The community is different here. People will stop to help someone change a tire in a blizzard. Last year, a tree fell across the road after a storm, and within minutes it was a mass of people with chainsaws and tow ropes clearing it. In other states I’ve lived in, someone would have called the town and waited impatiently.
And I just like saying “I’m from Maine.” We’re not loud about it like Texans, but Mainers are quietly proud of where we live. It shows up in how we take care of it, and why so many people come back.
AFK
I’m an avid reader. About 80 books last year. I’ve started measuring summer success by how many hours of hammock time I can get in.
I also have a hobby of picking up hobbies. I’ll learn until I can be dangerous in a conversation, and then move on. I’ve done woodworking, kombucha, and archery, among others. This year, it’s harmonica.
Let’s Talk
LinkedIn is the best place to find me, but I'm available in Nexus as well. And if you're a marketing agency looking to rely less on referrals to build your pipeline, grab some time at DynamicAgencyOS.com.
Thank you for making this community special, everyone! See you on Slack.
